Madison Perrigan, a junior catcher, managed to get herself into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Central Region Third Team on Thursday, May 16.
Perrigan Selected for NFCA All-Region Third Team
Once again, Madison was the catcher for Wichita State this season as well — starting all 56 games. She carried the team with 11 fantastic home runs, 15 doubles, 43 RBI, and 40 walks. These achievements led to Perrigan placing herself in top 5 in a couple of categories in the American League.

- First in total bases
- First in walks
- Second in slugging and runs
- Third in doubles
- Fifth when it comes to on-base percentage
As far as conference games go, Madison achieved .371, thanks to five home runs, eight doubles, 20 runs, and 21 RBI. She is the second Wichita State Shocker who managed to get named to the Central Region Third Team and the 17th Shocker who earned the NFCA honors.
