Two people are facing charges after stabbing a 50-year-old man in South Wichita. The victim’s body has been found in an RV.

The Victim Was Stabbed Multiple Times

The 25-year-old Royce Thomas and his accomplice, Micaela Spencer (24), first appeared in court last Thursday. They faced charges of first-degree murder, as well as allegations of a felony and illegal gun possession. Additionally, the couple was charged for possession of meth — a highly addictive, synthetic, stimulant drug.

The victim, William Callison, was last seen by his friends and neighbors on Sunday evening when everything seemed to be in order. However, on Monday morning, neighbors noticed that his RV was missing from the front yard. In the afternoon on that very same day, they saw two unfamiliar people driving his car. That was the red flag and the reason why neighbors decided to dial 911 immediately.

After a thorough investigation, the police managed to find the RV. It was located in a South Greenwood neighborhood, where the RV was parked in a private home driveway. The police found the victim’s body inside the car. It was determined the man died from multiple stab wounds in the abdominal area and was pronounced dead on the scene. The murderers were still in the truck at the time.

The case is still under investigation, and meanwhile, Royce and Micaela are to stay in prison. The judge set their bail at $500,000 each.
